About Quiet Schedule

Why I created Quiet Schedule

For many years, I’ve worked as a nanny, supporting families with two, three, even four children. A big part of those roles has been helping to keep family life running smoothly - getting from one activity to the next, coordinating schedules, and making sure important details don’t get missed.

One of my roles with the family I’m nannying now for is helping to keep the shared family calendar up to date. Going through school calendars, sports apps, class emails, and activity schedules to make sure everything is accurately reflected in the calendar. With every event including the time, locations and important details. As well as color coding each event by child so everyone can quickly see what’s ahead.

What often takes me an hour or two each week saves the family countless hours of searching through emails and apps, tracking down information and trying to remember who needs to be where and when.

Over time I’ve realized that calendar management can be a full time job on its own - especially for larger families with multiple children, schools, sports and activities.

The idea for Quiet Schedule actually came from one of my employers during a yearly review. He shared how valuable it was to have everything clearly organized and visible in the family calendar and thought it would be a great service for me to offer to other busy families.

It was never something I thought of doing, but that conversation stayed with me.

I created Quiet Schedule to help busy families stay organized, reduce the mental load of managing schedules, and feel confident that important details won’t slip through the cracks.

I’m excited to share the skills I’ve developed over the years and help more families keep life organized, quietly.
